Our private River Base features six acres of land, located right on the base of the Kicking Horse River. Featuring flush toilets, change rooms, showers, a picnic area and even beach volleyball courts, our base makes sure you can suit up and relax in comfort. Private parking onsite means you can leave your personal belongings behind with peace of mind as well.
Location, Location, Location
One of the best features of the base is its location. Just 25km east of Golden, BC, we are the closest rafting operator to Banff, and are right on top of the river! Being right on the river bank gives us the unique advantage of being able to set off right from the base, giving you more time on the water instead of being stuck on a bus.
Great Eats, On Us
After conquering the river, you’re sure to have worked up an appetite. Most of our trips (excluding the Last Waltz) include a delicious BBQ lunch for you to enjoy once you head back to base. Sit back, relax, hit the volleyball courts, and enjoy the sights and sounds of the Kicking Horse, just steps away. This is your chance to enjoy nature at its finest!
