Hydra currently offers three different trips down the Kicking Horse:
The Kicking Horse Classic
As our most popular trip, the Kicking Horse Classic departs from our River Base, located right on the banks of the Kicking Horse (which means you get even more time on the water), and treats rafters to stunning scenery as you navigate the upper rapids, and world class 1-4 rapids as you venture forward. Departing at 9 am or 12:30 pm daily, tour is approximately 4 hours in total, and includes a delicious BBQ lunch back at the base to wrap things up.
The Mild
Bringing children between the ages of 6-11 along with you for an epic day on the water? The Mild offers a more gentle experience during your 1 hour float down the river. Wrap up with a BBQ lunch at the end of the day and swap stories with your fellow rafters!
Last Waltz
Looking to kick off your trip a little later in the day? The Last Waltz departs at 3:45 pm and gives you and your fellow rafters an action packed blast down the Kicking Horse in the afternoon. As this is or last trip of the day, it does not include lunch
